ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kavan Syan is a 2D animation artist. Born in Calgary and growing up in Toronto, Canada, Kavan has spent most of his educational years studying visual arts. This stemmed from an early passion for the medium as a means to express.

 

Since 2015, Kavan has attended 2 notable Regional Art Programs and is currently attending MTM College of Animation, Art, and Design, a school of Animation recognized throughout the industry. 

Recently, Kavan created an animated short film that has been officially selected to participate in the Toronto Independent Film Festival.
